How to Submit a My Stena Line:

1. Before adding your My Stena Line you must create an account. We only require basic information about yourself and this helps us to ensure that the stories we show are genuine.
2. After creating an account you will be sent a confirmation email. Please click the link to confirm registration.
3. When you return to the site you should login.
4. Click the Submit a My Stena Line link in the menu at the top. Here you will see the 'Add a My Stena Line' button which will start the upload process.
5. Upload Process - Steps 1-7
   • Step 1 - Choose a title for your trip
     Here you set the text title for your trip. Think carefully about this as it will be the first thing people will see of your story as they browse the website. A good title is concise yet descriptive.
   • Step 2 - Your Trip Details
     Here you can add details of where you visited and the type of occasion, along with the name of your accommodation. Don't worry if you can't see your hotel, you can add it here.
   • Step 3 - Tell us your story
     Here is the place to tell us the story of your holiday. You can be as creative as you like but we ask that you keep the story to around 300 words to make it managable.
   • Step 4 - Upload a Video
     If you have made a video of your holiday you can upload it here. Be aware that large video files may take a long time to upload. The allowed formats are mov, mpg, avi, wmv and flv. If you do not have a video, no problem, just go straight to the next step for photo uploads.
   • Step 5 - Upload an Image
     If you have taken photographs of your holiday which you would like to share you can upload them here. Please only upload images that you have taken yourself and you own the copyrights to. The allowed formats are jpg, jpeg, gif and png. If you do not have any images you can bypass this step, although we do ask for either video or photos (or both) to be submitted.
   • Step 6 - What's My Stena Line
     Your My Stena Line is your holiday in one line. If someone asked you to sum up your holiday in one line, what would it be?
   • Step 7 - Confirm
     Here you can see your My Stena Line exactly as it will be seen on the site. Have a look, check that your videos and images are looking like you planned. If there is anything wrong, or you have forgotten a photograph etc you can go back and change what you have done. When you are happy click 'Confirm Story'.
6. That’s it! From here your story will be quickly reviewed by our staff and then published on the website. The review process is to ensure that the website does not become flooded with bogus stories, we will not alter your story without your permission unless we need to.
7. You can submit as many My Stena Lines as you want and they will all be stored in your My Stena Lines section of the site. You can edit and add to each of your My Stena Lines as often as you want but please be aware that they will be taken offline as soon as they are modified and will have to go through the review process again.
